The problem is these bitches don't have any shoes and their feet are cold, hence it makes them grouchy. Do a search on the "sub bitches without shoes who send feet pics to Doms" thread, that will give you all the answers you are seeking.

We've been discussing on how to modify their behavior, alcohol, mind altering drugs, disney movies....I'm not too sure about the disney movies, that could be viewed as inhumane.

I've met over 50 people from this site. I am proud to call a number of them my friends. I don't believe that any of the people I've met in real life are really any different than they are on the boards. I have been surprised by one person who was more bitter than I had noticed on the boards, but that was more about degree of personality rather than anything else. The other folks - pretty much like you see them here. Of course I will stipulate that this is something of a self - selecting group. Almost all of them are posters on the boards, many of them on P and ORS (the comedy central of CM).

I agree that generally speaking politeness begets politeness. I recently started a thread in which my POV was diametrically opposed to many people on this board. And not once was there any nastiness or rudeness. A bit of humor here and there, but good humored ribbing for the most part.

You have a good point in that people do have the opportunity to tap into other parts of themselves. Myself, I am a bit more forward, flirtatious, and confrontational here than I am in real life. I like to think I maintain (for the most part) a certain compassion and joie de vivre that I embrace in real life. But like all relationships, as we get to know one another, the shadows, the uglies, our own private little gremlins come out. But that is a byproduct of acceptance. Relationships can withstand that - even on line relationships. With time, it is the people who are able to be honest and open who are the ones who stay. This tends to be a group of people that just doesn't take kindly to nonsense.

Seriously, I find it odd too, although as a submissive female poster I'm probably as guilty as anyone of doing this. I don't see this sort of "rebellious acting out" pattern from vanilla women on the vanilla sex boards I frequent, only on the bdsm ones (and it is on ALL of the bdsm ones I've visited). So I think you're on to something. What, I'm not sure (and perhaps don't want to be drawn and quartered for speculating about :p) but, no matter how heavy the deinal you are definitely observing something real (the strength of the response against this idea is a sure indication that it "struck home") . Brave of you to speak out about it. Other outsiders who see this pattern clearly and remark upon it get crucified.

Sub,Dom,Master,Slave whatever, I accept people as people first before the title they like to give themselves, and as people I treat them, with just as much respect as I do offline. What I don't quite understand, is why some people assume because a person identifies as whatever, they should act according to that title. Let's face it what we call ourselves on a kink website, has no basis in law, it is meaningless and possibly illegal in whatever country you type from.

What a person calls themselves is for that person and whom they are with, it is not for the world at large to see and there judge.

I sub for another, but if anyone else who I have not agreed with tried to subject me to their designs on dominance, they would politely be told to go forth and multiply. I may be of a largely submissive personality, but there aren't many that can get through my armour, someone saying they are something will not, and does not make one iota of a difference.I say what goes when it comes to me.

I don't think it is 'rebellious acting out'.

What I think it that submissiveness can be likened to a river. If the banks don't contain it, it floods over the roads and houses. So if you don't have a dynamic where you can safely be submissive, then you're more likely to sir every guy on the boards. Or mistress every woman as the case goes.

But when you are in a dynamic where your submissiveness comes out, then you are free to be stronger in the rest of your life.

I'm not rebelling against anyone. I simply see no reason to kowtow to anybody. And when you come onto boards such as these where you ask questions, you aren't going to be tippy toed around. It is assumed that you have to be an adult to be here, and that therefore you are going to behave like an adult when you receive information or advice that makes you wince.

What happens of course is just the opposite. Too many people claim we are just being mean when in fact we are simply being blunt. If you want to be mollycoddled, call your mother. Nobody else here needs to go "there, there, you poor thing".

Could it be because, since they are vanilla, you have no expectations for their behavior and therefore don't regard anything they do as "shamefully un-vanilla?".

I know I can only speak for myself when I say that I truly don't care if the OP, you or anyone else thinks I behave unsubmissively. At the end of the day, I'm worried about pleasing my owner, not you. Since the topic is up for discussion, people have voiced their opinion. You'll notice that it hasn't just been female subs disagreeing with the OP.

I only read the up to page 6 of this thread but the reality is no matter what label we wear we all have our own individual personalities. My close friends and family call me the queen of sarcasm and I am proud to wear that title. Lol My partner / dom has known from jump that i was a sarcastic mouthy short shit and he loves me for those qualities. I would NEVER cow tow to a perfect stranger on the street or pretend to be someone i am not in real life so why would I do either of those things here?

No offense but your idea of what a true submissive is is just that YOURS. Who do you think you are to presume that everyone else should follow or take up your guidelines and protocals. That is a bit unrealistic dontcha think?

Let me guess, Holly did not answer her email that you sent to her. 

Although I am curious to know how you know if someone is sub or dom.  Are you checking EVERY name and profile?  Because orientation does not show up on my computer.
