Nobody who is capable of rational thought would offer you odds on that JB.

RC, of course custom and manners are paramount.  I do not know enough about the context of this bow to say one way or the other.

Fiat currency wars are upon us.  It is all a LIE.

China has wisdom.  The USA has testosterone.

This depression will last for 20 years.

And you are ok to admit that, and I admire you for that.
The OP on the other hand is oblivious to the bow in context and that thread shows this, particularly when he stated that Hu Jintao (or in other words - 'they') didn't bow back and inquiring minds wanted to know.
I would ask whether he really does wish to be enlightened, or whether the post was just essentially a failed, political dig.
(what - on a politics forum????? Never!)

Obama is not bowing, he's just laughing at the little guy's dick.
Tank man just shows Oriental technology  is not up to running over one annoying little fucker once, you need to line up to do it three times, or maybe they were going to see how far they could spread him. All this agonizing, it's all soooo politically correct.

Careful Sanity, they are lashing out at you.

But it is disturbing to say the least to see the piddly little shit you have to lament, now that there is an actual president in the white house instead of some hayseed bumpkin neo-con, I long for the good old days and your tortured and misinformed defenses of indefensible fuckweasels.

That, my friend, was pure hyperbolic theater.

Ron

Alas it truly is a shame Obama doesn't act presidential, must be all that bowing Michelle's mother makes him do.

I know you supporters get all squee whenever we make fun of Obama, but really, all that bowing makes him look weak and subservient.

Domiguy, I think you and others are being played by Obama.

Just like the neo cons were played by Bush.

Yes I do, but what I dont remember is you making such a fuss when Bush met the Chinese.

In deference to DG's expertise, Obama could start shitting gold ingots to pay off the deficit and still face criticism if some of them need to have corn kernels picked out of them.

The man is a product of his handlers. Even in the most neutral situations, outside their guiding influence and TelePrompTer delivered lines, the man has problems acting or talking without a script. Opening day of baseball - the most neutral of situations; made it through the scrutiny of the first pitch, up in the announces box, he discloses his lifelong association with the 'South Side' White Sox. "Great Mr. President, and who is your favorite White Sox?" The question stumps him! Hell - go with Steve Kemp, go with a traded guy - Tom Seaver, or the farm hand who got away - Sammy Sosa; instead another long winded answer referencing his Hawaiian roots!?

Hilliary Clinton proclaimed herself a 'Yankee Fan' during the NY Senate primaries and it almost cost her the election. Obama never got the 'tough'; "who's your favorite player" questions during the campaign and now - with each one asked - it discloses him to be a placard image without substance. Same as Hilliary - same source of cause/effect - the handlers; but only distinct from the 'Red' linen by visibility and coverage for the time being. Regan may not have known as much or been half as intelligent as either, but he would have been able to chat and talk with the baseball announcers through a hour long rain delay and not made such poor representation of himself as Obama did in one question.

This is what we have - this is what we deserve. Obama, like Carter before him, is an intelligent man totally miscast, over his head, and lost in the position he finds himself. Bowing, hand shaking, hugging, kissing, or misrepresenting the pragmatic immediate impact of the health care bill he just signed; the man can't do a damn thing right. I'm sure he's smarter than this - but we'll never see it or have the opportunity to benefit from it. Not now - when even his unquestioning apologists, watch, listen and shake their heads as the try to rationalize what happened to 'CHANGE!'.

I am not thrilled with Obama. There should have been more strings on the tarp funds. the health care plan should have been more detailed in it's cost cutting measures and how it is going to be implemented.

I want our troops out of Iraq. Today.

I want people to want more for themselves.....

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/jul/15/obama-urges-blacks-responsibility/

Sen. Barack Obama insisted Monday that blacks must show greater responsibility for their actions.

In remarks prepared for delivery at the annual convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the man who could become the first black president said Washington must provide greater education and economic assistance, but that blacks must demand more of themselves.

"If we're serious about reclaiming that dream, we have to do more in our own lives, our own families and our own communities," the Democratic presidential candidate said. "That starts with providing the guidance our children need, turning off the TV and putting away the video games; attending those parent-teacher conferences, helping our children with their homework and setting a good example."

He added: "I know some say I've been too tough on folks about this responsibility stuff. But I'm not going to stop talking about it. Because I believe that in the end, it doesn't matter how much money we invest in our communities, or how many 10-point plans we propose, or how many government programs we launch - none of it will make any difference if we don't seize more responsibility in our own lives.
"

This is a time for serious leadership.

How anyone can think that health care is not broken has no idea how the current system operates.

If someone thinks that the tarp money was completely unjustified has no idea as to the depth and seriousness of the problem that it addressed.

This guy is far from perfect. But he has made some tough decisions that flew in the face of what was viewed as being politically advantageous.

Conservatives say that he has no regard for the constitution like a bull in a china shop but is a pussy because he "bows down" to foreign authority.

Which is it? That's right, it is both.

I'm not a big fan of Obama's bowing-thing, to my American eyes it makes him look weak. There are, however, much more pressing (and interesting) topics to debate.

Domiguy,

Larouch says the British will now kill Obama- being that he is no longer of any use for them.

Of course no one wants this to occur- but empire is never "fair".

Balkanization is a common tactic.

They play us against eachother.

I wish I had a better answer- for now I simply do not.
