I learned how to drive in a '64 Buick Wildcat, which had it's muffler and tailpipe in three pieces in the trunk for the entire time I owned that car. My mom bought it for Me from some little old lady who was gasp the original owner. I drove that thing to My prom in '84. Having a giggle, thanx for the memory! [:D]

I learned to drive when I was 14...a Pontiac Tempest(I think..or perhaps a Catalina) anyway my drunk father was...well drunk and we were in the wrong borough.Staten Island....he wanted to get home to Queens which meant the Varenzanno Bridge and the Belt Prkwy to Queens.So the old man is drunk my younger brother and baby sister are in the back seat....and it's pouring out....and little 14 y/o mikie is driving across a big bridge...lol. I laugh about it now but I was scared,the brother and sister were crying in the back seat...and my drunk father was tellinhg me to pass this car and that on the rain slick roads.At one point when I hesitated in speeding up to pass another driver....he placed his foot on top of mine.We passed the other driver....and I did learn,real fast how to drive...just another warm fuzzy memory of a bastard father. Not one of those things I would bring back.....the father I mean [:)]
