Of course most here never get silence. This due to creeky bed springs.

I occasionally do a "Verbal Fasting Day" where I don't speak at all. It's very peaceful.

i seem to find that happening a lot these days. sometimes the only meaningful conversation i have is telling the cat he's GOT food in his pole and to rack off

i mostly don't have music or radio on though, and i don't watch tv.

i'd love to find a radio station that has a downloadable longplaying mp3 of crickets, frogs and a tumbling book. i would listen to that more than anything
