Hey I am looking at expanding My use of ropes and such and am looking to either discuss some techniques with someone who is knowledgeable or find some good texts on shibari and other japanese and oriental bindings

Pick up the book by Midori: "The Art of Japanese Bondage" and, if she comes to your area, take her workshop "Rope Dojo".
