Actually, everyone here was arguing away pretty nicely til you came along and started making derogatory comments about people's appearance, which had btw absolutely NO bearing on the question at hand.

But you know, I get MY feeling of achievement through being happy with who and what I am, and don't feel any need to put others down in order to be able to have any self-esteem. And you know what? I like to help others, too. Only I like to help others because I *like* people in general, and it gives me satisfaction to have been able to help... not because I need to to make myself feel all superior, and without any need to put other people down so that I can condescend to them in the guise of "helping." That's the worst kind of selfishness there is, and it stems from pathetically low self-esteem and shallowness of the worst sort.

It doesn't matter how much education you've had or how many clients you have or what your career is. Until you can love yourself AND OTHERS for who they are, you will never be happy, never be content. You will never feel truly worthwhile until you can do so without standing on the pile of bodies beneath your feet.

You can look as perfect as you like on the outside, yet I can still stand before you without flinching and look you square in the eye, because in the end, I know who I am. I did not think this thread was going in the direction of personal appearances. We all have our tastes, and I fail to see what this really has to do with the original topic.

I really like heavy women. My bride is a chubby girl and I love her to pieces just the way she is. I would not have her change a thing. Quite apart from the (I assume inadvertent) neologisms her syntax strikes me as very odd, but the ever-widening gap between the British and American forms of the language, plus my isolation for several years now from native English speakers, has somewhat shaken my confidence in my own abilities in this area: I am rapidy becoming incompetent in two languages!
