mike, mike, mike.

Invent position first, then construct justification. Ridicule evidence to the contrary.

Have you learned nothing?

When that doesn't work you then resort to name calling.

Karl Rove would be proud

Damn. How could I have forgotten the name calling?

Sometimes it's even preemptive.

Good luck, it's not an easy process. If that doesn't work, try rolling your own. Not a whole lot of difference and only about 90 cents a pack.

Well then there is RFIDS being put into medications.  This to track the time you take them. Or - the time they leave your possession.  All in real time.

Im calling bullshit on this one, pahunk. Again, prove it or shut up about it, you have been going on and on about the RFIDs for a month now... and its a technology that has been FDA approved since before 2004.

Just another tin foil hat you decided to put on for the moment.

so was the poison nutra sweet, and how about the relaxed standards on the mercury and toxic standards that was so fucking out there it brought the EPA down against them.  so whats your point the cares about your safety?

On;y a complete fool thinks the government works for your personal best interest.

tazzygirl -> RE: President Obama comments on the Tea Party (4/16/2010 10:09:40 AM)

because, unlike the idiots who believe everything that comes down the pipeline, i happen to have a brain i utilize. i dont allow others to think for me, nor do i believe those who insist i should "believe" or "trust" them because the "government" is out to get me.

too bad you cant say the same.

In order for this technology to work, to be able to determine if you are taking your meds, it would have to be able to read the medications presence within your home, know the time you are supposed to take it, determine that you opened the container, and actually took the medication which entails being able to scan the meds constantly.

Hell, even GSP isnt that damn good, or accurate. and you expect me to believe a scanning devise is that accurate?

mnottertail -> RE: President Obama comments on the Tea Party (4/16/2010 10:14:29 AM)

nevermind that each individual pill would have to have a unique id, (everyone in the world) because there is no way under any rfid technology to count uniqueness other than uniqueness (and I cant think that there ever will be a way) i.e. how many pills are left?  and would have to be able to be read from any meaningful distance, be larger than the fucking pill, larger than the bottle even. nothing you could swaller!!!!

Real0ne -> RE: President Obama comments on the Tea Party (4/16/2010 10:14:33 AM)

my comment was restricted to the FDA approving shit and did not encompass the whole of the topic to make my point that nothing they do is for our personal benefit and only a fool would think so.

Mostly leftiee rightee crowd.

but to weigh in on the topic while it is possible to plant one in each pill I dont see the practical use of monitoring to that extent.

That and lord hlep them with the suits that would follow.

FDA does not regulate TEA in my understanding.

A highly relevant article from Newsweek:

quote:

Today Is the Best Tax Day of Your Life

Looking back, we may all remember April 15, 2010, as the day we got off cheaply. Why a growing deficit and increased spending on health care and Social Security nearly guarantee higher tax bills in our future.
