Howie Carr (WRKO-680 Boston) said that the NY Times only made $21 million last year.
He said that Rupert Murdock's movie "Avatar" probably made that in one week.
Also that Saltzberger guy who is the majority stockholder voted himself a $6 million dollar "bonus."
And The Boston Globe ("The Boring Broadsheet") a subsidiary of the Times is having massive layoffs and probably won't be around in two years.
Things aren't looking good for the newspaper that puts the editorials on the front page.

Goddess, according to Howie Carr the N.Y. Time's "financials" won't hold them above water for much longer.
If they only took in $21 m in revenues last year I wonder how much their expenses were?

I wish that that was criminal behavior, to take an $8 mil bonus from a company with only $21 mil in revenues.

Yeah, print media isn't doing so well.  More people are gravitating to the Internet.  So are advertisers.
