I've met a few people on this site and it's been a great resource for meeting like-minded people in my area. Most of the people I have met and started relationships with, it has been off the site. But I've met some cool people who we ended up befriending. We love knowing people with whom we can just be ourselves, instead of having to pretend. BDSM is something that makes us happy...we want to be able to talk about it, not hide it. Unfortunately in some situations we have to.
I think fetish parties are a great way to meet people, but at the same time I have met people on this site who go to the same parties. Online is a great way to get to know someone better, who you may not have had a chance to speak to at a party with everything going on.
I hope everyone finds what they are looking for on/off this site. [:)]
