Yes, in terms of sheer mathematics it is more difficult to find the one you want to grow old with in D/s or M/s but trust me whether you're talking vanilla OR in the lifestyle it's worth the wait, you're still young...

Or you can look at if from another perspective... in terms of sheer mathematics it is easier to find the one you want to grow old with because there are fewer wrong choices to make.

It's all about perspective. You are fishing in a smaller pond. It doesn't make it easier or harder to fish, just less options, but then less wrong choices too.

Relationships(of any kind) develop an inertia of their own,some progress,some stagnate,others regress...
My best advice,would be to find someone that fits your vanilla desires,that is not adverse to experimentation...

That is very true, sadly it seems the one the matches the best always lives the farthest away *sighs*

Oh well certainly makes the looking easier if you know what you want and need, just means more alone time till you find the right one.

lol so far my search has found some very ummm interesting ppl *grins* but some really great friends too.

I sure hope to one day find the right master for me, whether we grow old together is not my objective in life though it would be a bonus.

I have had many loves in my lifetime and believe that with each person I have grown to become the person I am today.

I love online dating sites b/c I can find out immediately through interaction and communication if the lifestyle even is of interest to that person and go from there. If I go out, I really only want to be with others of the same interests.

Most vanilla men have these ideals and objectives, they are going to meet the right woman and make her his wife.

Forget about everything she is...I will someday meet the right dom for me who will have both lifestyle interests, nilla interests and also take everything about me and "us" into account.

I just can't go back to the vanilla life, it has no teeth for me. The vanilla dynamics bores me to tears!
