Little pains.
Make the big ones more manageable.
The stinging
gives focus to other things
I know it hurts
but just for a while
the happiness of control
knowing it is you
You hurt yourself
by counting on others not to
so why not purposefully
cause little pains?
It will all go away
be a memory in others minds
Just a buzzing echo
Of what was
Have nothing to fear
someday they will see
that you were worth it
and they lost
Don't let the big pains
keep you from feeling
the little pains
because the little pains keep you alive
