I was a Domme for 5 years with a wonderful submissive man, and have had a few others, and my current submissive playpartner, push my dominant buttons. I agree that your poll doesn't seem to have anything to do with how similar submissive men are to submissive women. As a general rule, I do think that some of the stereotypes hold true, but there are plenty of exceptions on both sides (ie. men being more focused on sex and specific BDSM and other kink activities). I tend to be a little more gentle with my playpartner than I have been with most of the men I've played with, but that's partly due to my seeing her as a bit more fragile, and partly because she doesn't have a super high pain tolerance for some of the things I do to her. Women tend in general, from what I've observed in posts, to be more matter-of-fact about service and focus on it primarily as a way to make their Dominant's life easier, while a lot of men seem to get into service more as a way of expressing their cross-dressing kink, or as a way of getting aroused. Again, there are plenty of women who dislike service, and some men who are in it to be as helpful as possible.
