Here is the little story, I really hope you enjoy it! Here goes!---------
" I REMEMBER FATHER"
I remember shoulders the size of Mountains
that would carry me around the pool.
Not just any pool, it was the pool of wonder! We would meet Dragons
But that was of no consequence.
Because, I was on the top of a
Dinasour. I Felt no fear, because, together we could do almost anything. How I wish I was back there again!I remember a time on Vacation when my younger sister was about maybe a year old. My Father was afraid that she would climb out of her crib.He constructed a lavish network of rope to keep her in her crib,I still laugh at the sight of him saying "OH MY GOD" as he realized a BIG MISTAKE.Just go into laughing fits when I think of My Father gulping down a large sip of his martini, leaping from his chair as He realized that Mare could possible hang herself!
He furiously pulled apart his labor of love. to prevent her hanging herself!
how I WISH He was still here to prevent me from hanging myself!
I also remember, it was at that Vacation place that I finally learned to PRONOUNCE
The letter L I awoke Father at some ungodly hour to announce that I COULD SAY LAMPSHADE!
I could say Lucy and I could say love!
Now fast forward to 1999.
Father, now fully immersed in computers
Informed me that I should get a computer, he even sent me the money to make this my purchase.
I informed him" what on earth would I do with a Computer? Soon after, I was in the Internet, and sent my first e-mail to my Father! I discovered how safe it was to be able to tell him anything. you see I never felt as if I was a good as my smarter siblings, and that was true. while the barely studied they got all A's I on the other studied so hard only to end up with c's I never felt as if my Father loved. Over the Internet we told each everything! He did love me! He even taught me to cut and paste. In Kindergarten I had to cut out stuff and paste it on a paper. I never knew until years that I have Learning problems. Who would have thought he taught me the one thing I hated so much as a child in 1952! The one thing I hated as a child, I was doing with my Father, and guess what? We were both happy. I really miss him, I really do. Both of my parents died within 6 weeks of each other. I still miss them both terribly to this day. Oh I should also mention that my Father did Internet math with Yale and Harvard Professors. I am so proud of him for being the man he was.
