If your forgiveness was at all conditional, even retroactively, then perhaps it is YOUR world that is in need of tuning rather than everyone else's. Also, context plays a huge role in how "forgivable" a mistake is. Further, isn't expecting forgiveness in a way shifting at least some kind of "blame" or "responsibility"? Owning up to your mistakes includes accepting that, no matter what your response has been in the past, that no one owes it to you to let it go. It is part and parcel of the responsibility you claim is knowing you just might lose it all. Either you forgive or you don't. Either you take responsibility for your mistakes or you don't. These are things where you really can't have it both ways. lovingpet
