I read the book and seen the movie. Interesting issues raised about sadism that will make lifestyle people cringe and might see it as a step back for the lifestyle. The book gives bdsm a bit fairer treatment, but the movie does not. still, I recommend the movie because it is entertaining. Those who hate subtitles avoid.

Now I might have to get the book. I've seen it many a time in CostCo, never picked it up.

I have not seen the movie but this book and the next two in the series were excellent. I was seriously impressed, I passed them on to two people so far and they have both loved them as well. Please, read these books, you won't regret it. They've become an international sensation and rightfully so. Very very good books.

I don't know what fucking lifestyle YOU lead but that movie was about acts that a bullet to the back of the head is WAY to merciful, slow roasting over an open fire wouldn't probably be to harsh.

I read the trilogy and thought it was excellent. It is unfortunate that Stieg Larsson died before he knew how well received his work was going to become to so many folks and that we won't be able to see what else he may have produced.

I've only read the first two.. but if the last one holds true (and by all accounts, it does), these are definitelt being added to my permanent collection.

Although.. I had no idea there was a movie!

The last one is not as good as the first two.

I'm not sure what the books have to do with wiitwd, but they are good!

Oh, wait...the crazy guy...uhm...that's a small part of the book...but ok...
