Status: offline 		Woody and NG , do you think the fact the government have had to step in to run an inept labour council (Doncaster) will affect votes in the north ?  The news was announced today.

Status: offline 		It's not really big news, massively useful (and accurate) propaganda for UKIP, BNP, ED...and the other boo to PC parties though. Probably affect the local MPs, but not the national campaign.

Status: offline 		Ironically Doncaster Council had several Labour councillors jailed for corruption, in the nineties. It didnt seem to affect how the people voted. I just wonder if the fact council and national elections are on the same day, this will make any difference.

It would seem perverse to vote labour in one and not both.

Status: offline 		Well, we experience conservative policies of old on a daily basis, all those assets sold off, under the name of privatisation, where we were told via competition the voter would get a better deal. That has turned out to be a load of bollocks, in the terms of public transport, buses, the service is shite and very expensive if one has to use it everyday, oh, and there is only one bus service, a private company whose attitude is take it or leave it, its crap because we pay the drivers peanuts, and so only attract the scrapings of the barrel and the customers suffer. So on that alone as far as I am concerned Cameron and his lot can go and fuck themselves.

Quickly so as not to hijack the thread that is not the way it works in most states...there have been more than two parties in the past and can easily be in the future.

Many States delegates are obligated to vote for the candidate that wins the popular vote...now not all but many.
