I cut mine when a friend died, and made a donation to Locks of Love.  It had been almost long enough to sit on, so I left enough to have it shoulder length.  At the moment, it's to my waist and growing.  I like mine long, but it has nothing to do with my kinks and is more of a who I am thing.
