This is beyond the Mods and Admins, this is in the realm of software I think. It is not the first time it has happened either, although it is a rare occurrance.
My delete key was disabled temporarily. I was proofing something and it just stopped working. I could back up and use the backspace key as a workaround, so it wasn't a huge problem.
It seems to have fixed itself now and I have just tested it, When it happened THIS time I opened notepad and found the delete key to work fine. But in the posting window it still did not. Now in this post I have retested it and it is again working.
I realize that the window in which I type right now is a mini word processor of sorts, part of the software that makes this site run. This is also not a huge problem, but I find it very interesting.
Does anyone have enough expertise on the subject to give me a clue as to why this happens ? I am not pleading for help, nor bitching and whining about it, it is a minor problem and alway fixes itself. But the problem itself it quite intersting to me and that is why I mention it. Not to mention that I am getting somewhat tired of politics :-).
