Then if I understand your position these guys are okay to seek out and capture terrorists because the fact they cannot identify a sex predator in their midst is not an indicator of ineptitude.

The fact that they didn't know about this through, what I assume would be a rigorous screening process, is not necessarily indicative of an ineptitude toward finding terrorists. There are so many examples of people in various professions that are found out to have some dark secret hidden somewhere where, you would think, someone would have found out. Again, this makes me feel no less or more safe than I felt before. I just do not get why this is such a shocking revelation. This isn't the first law enforcement official that was discovered to be doing something illegal. Regardless of what his job was, I feel no more reason to be outraged than I normally would.
