And i dont know why She showed me interest to be honest because i have no experience of taking pain. i checked Her profile and it said sadist. like i say i dont think im compatible. And i dont know why a professed sadist would show interest in someone with no experience of taking pain only online service so far. i found it flattering but i think i would be a disappointment to Her as i would to most Women kevin

LadyEllen, there are quite a few Dominant and switch women who are married or in a serious relationship, but who have a submissive as well. kevin, I have to agree that you probably shouldn't get involved with anyone until you get your life straighted out, and address some of the attitudes you have toward women in general and Dommes in particular.

We spoke about that type of feeling arising in long term unemployment before Kevin - if you have low self esteem to start with it can only have a worse effect. No one can give you self esteem - only you can realise why you feel the way you do and take steps to resolve it so you understand that regardless of all else you know youre worthwhile. Its a matter of identifying why you start and maintain a negative self commentary, how that affects you in every way and how to break it. The saddest thing about low self esteem is perhaps its self reinforcing nature - low self esteem is easily picked up on by others and its not attractive so they reject it - important; they reject your low self esteem not you - but of course your thinking will tell you that its because you are a lousy person. E

First, there could be much appeal to a Sadist to meet a pain virgin who wants to try. It's like taking away their S&M virginity. I'm done this before and yes, there is a rush that one gets from being the first to do something to someone, to have them discover something and experience things for the first time. Since Sadists are empathic and feed off energy of the one they are torturing, this could be very sweet. Now I agree wholeheartedly with LadyEllen's comments about self-esteem. A little bit less with Adalusite, only because I don't think that people need to have their lives in order before they get into a relationship. I do think they need to be honest about the person they are wanting to engage in a relationship with about their state of their lives. Yeah it does . im sorry for asking the question. it was a stupid question i suppose. its really silly of me. i need to get a life. But with few friends i see this board as a place to practice my social skills more than anything else. without this board and the BDSM group in Dublin i would be isolated and alone. i suppose it does indicate that i have low self esteem but its hard when i dont have any contacts outside the scene end of kevin

There's an old saying...the only stupid question is the unasked one. I think your original post was a valid question and one I hope you've been able to find answers for. What seems like a "no-brainer" for some people isn't an easy concept for others to grasp. It's all part of learning and growing as an individual...in our own ways. I find it helpful to think before I post to make sure what I'm saying makes sense.
