Hello. I'm curious about favorite punishments required of subs when there is on line communication only, particularly with subs who are into physical punishments...things you can have the sub do to himself, for example, piss in a cup and drink it. But other, non-physical punishments as well.

online physical punishments...hell your imagination is the limit, have them do whatever....sit on something large and painful, smack their balls with a ruler, whatever....use your imagination. Oh, and ladyM....who cares

For some, it works. For others, what the rest of us do is ridiculous. Is there a point to ridicule? Does it make us feel good to do so?

Lady Morgynn, with respect, it really isn't productive to insult the OP. Whilst it is probably true that many people who are solely into cyber are 'married' 'stupid' 'wankers', I am sure that likewise there are many out there who are legit, and find themselves in this kind of long distance situation for periods of time for whatever reason. chrismt, I haven't done cyber before so I can't attest to the effectiveness of this, but... If it's a guy sub/slave, making him wax his legs can be painful, especially if he hasn't done it before. Depending on their personality type this could also serve humiliation/embarrasment purposes, or at least as a long-standing reminder of the lesson... Maybe waxing the eyebrows completely off would be a more extreme version, and both could be proved via webcam or pics... Clearly depends on the poor dear's occupation and family situation, some employers would obviously find this inappropriate [;)] Chastity, in any of its forms... Speaks for itself If you have a webcam, get him to sit or stand in front of it in a certain position, to be maintained for x amount of time... This sort of thing would be really monotonous and boring and potentially painful if it's an uncomfortable position, and in terms of effectiveness would serve better as a legitimate punishment for a painsl*t... This could be extended to sleep deprivation, getting him to sit or stand in front of it throughout the night or part of it... you won't even need to check all that often, 'cause he'll never know when you are or aren't... Again, hideously monotonous... Not sure if that's the sort of thing you're after, but 'fraid that's where my imagination runs out [;)]

One of the problems as I see it, is the close association to role playing.. Now my last slave was mostly LDR but she did spend weeks at a time living with us and the plan was for her to move here..... Irrespective of the trust you have, the only two methods of using LDP is to have either a web cam so you can see toe piunishm,ent happening or the use of essays. I'm in favour of essays as it gives the opportunity for learning as well as the disclipline of researching and writing..... Yet i do know Cyber relationships which do work and have at times been asked to act as a supervisor untill a Master returned home.... << Just the toughts of a Bear who doesn't live in a Big blue House but in a Big Blue Cave>> [;)][;)][:D]

ownedgirlie, skinnykitten, Not to worry too much, Human nature being what it is people tend to mock and fear what they don't understand or what is not their cup of tea... It's good to see sumbissives prepared to stand up and defend some one who was being neither a smart ass and offensive or whining or complaining, but whose only fauilt was not to check all the forums..... Thank you proudsub for the link, it saved me the trouble of getting it for the OP..

speaking as a cyber only sub, who is yes, in a committed vanilla relationship, I can attest that cyber does work for some, and there is no wanna be to it. My dom knows that my desire to serve is enough that I'll follow orders even when the orders include punishment. I'll let him speak, if he chooses to different cyber punishments.

I prefer to not live my life in front of a comp. While I agree it may work for some, it isn't real. Pretending to be something doesn't make it so. Perhaps the BEST punishment for those in cyber only relationships, would be to make them step away from the computer for a few days.

Mocking the situation mocks anyone who might be in an online OR long distance relationship. People do what they can do, and while there are of course players and role players out there (who cares??) , there are also many people who have deep feelings of devotion and desire toward the one they serve, whether they can physically touch them or not. i agree with you about your position on mockery. In my opinion, it serves no purpose but to somehow attempt elevate the mocker to a higher esteem (unless of course mockery takes place during a humiliation scenario...heh). This demonstrates to me the ones who mock have a low self esteem, if they have such a desire to elevate it. Pity that they must put down others to help themselves feel good.
