Friendships are golden with love the glue, which binds me
If a friend turns into a loved one as You became to me
This will sparkle as if there was silver on the sea The jealously of those who did not see the beauty of what i had with You From this, i take its lead, which weights me down and made me blue Gave me storm clouds wind and rain which blew my off our course Now i must live my life without You just clinging to a raft My eyes cast upwards and my cries unheard above the storm The thunder and the lightening the pain i feel no light on my horizon The darkest night I’m bound with the cruel cold sea surrounds me as i cry aloud for You I strike a pose and beg repose within the pretty prose to plead with You to see my light before the storm puts it out Its sink or swim for me right now my tears the sea with which i fill the birds above fly on past singing to the moon With strength unknown I pull on now, i kick my feet just above the shark’s teeth I wipe my brow and call aloud is anyone out the for me fear quickening my pace This race this time then i see i might not be alone upon my raft Is it you who calls to me from far across this salted sea, where the waves crash and white horses roam I lay prone within the foam upon the beach hope forever eternal my soul calls out to you Please will you befriend me now for I’m sorely in need of You
