Why do people on the internet get so pissy when you tell them that looks matter?  Isn't that just common sense?  I don't want to talk to fat guys or ugly guys.  It's nothing personal and it's my own choice. So why can't people just deal instead of getting so angry all the time?  To me looks matter, to me looks are the best way to tell what kind of person someone really is and to me looks are the most important piece of the attraction puzzle.  WHy can't everyone just deal?

Many men date on the internet because they are unable to handle rejection in real life.  They aren't really able to handle it on the internet either, but at least they can fire back an email saying they never wanted you anyway, you so-and-so, before they block you.

You're going to be dealing with a lot of guys who wouldn't have the chutzpah to walk up to you in real life, if you really do look like your pic.  They'll be giving it a try here, though, because you're hot and email is free.

I don't believe a person's looks are the best way to know who they are.  Looks are often a good indication of a person's social standing, whether that person has had kids, whether that person goes to the gym.  But, for example, I found your face very attractive, and your post here very unattractive.

Wait until your good looks go. And the only way to prevent that is to die.

And I am a fat ugly guy who can satisfy you to a T, and once I get some health issues cleared up would have no problem supporting you in a quite decent style, you would never have to work a day in your life and you would drive my cars, use my CCs and get my devotion and loyalty. If I were somehow motivated to do so I could make millions of dollars.

But then I am not that good looking and I am overweight, so go find yourself an abusine maniac and try to get the fuck out of there before his welfare supported ass kills your shallow ass, and see what it's like in a battered Women's shelter. Then you can think about that fat ugly guy with money who treats you like a Queen, would never raise a hand to you in anger and with whom you can share your most innermost thoughts and desires, even hangups.

People tend to get defensive, especially when it is suggested that they are less than attractive.  Just tell them you are not interested.  You do not have to tell them they are ugly fuckers.

Anyone who claims that looks are irrelevant in a romantic relationship is lying or somehow completely devoid of shallowness.

Physical attraction is one of the things that elevates someone beyond the "friend zone".

I prefer someone to tell me that they aren't interested in me based on my looks than to just be ignored.  I've been told before that I wasn't attractive to the writer & I thanked them for their honesty.  Nothing wrong with having a physical preference.  But it is all in the way you put it out there, IMO

lol exactly.  I don't even like being friends with ugly guys because in my opinion people who don't take care of themselves physically are also unhealthy mentally and unhappy and I choose not to burden my beautiful mind with people like that.  Sometimes people get really mad when I say things like that but I'm just expressing My opinion.

In life, looks matter pretty much in most aspects of life -- people know that even if they don't LIKE it.

Only someone immature would be tacky enough to say i don't want to talk to you because you are ugly or fat. if they ask, then you should be mature enough to explain it outside of saying, you're an ugly mf.

I think narcissism, greed and selfishness are all beautiful and virtues.  That's not a popular opinion but it's really the way that I see the world we live in.
