I always thought Brett Michaels was a bit of an ass with that reality show of his. 2 years ago, one of my hospice patients dying wish was to meet him. Our social worker called who ever you call to get a hold of him and expained the situation and he agreed to meet her, her kids and parents before his show in Boston or Providence. Myself and another nurse were the ones who accompanied her.
He was absolutely amazing with her. He spent over three hours talking, taking videos and pics. And of course she got back stage passes for the concert and all that jazz. He could not have been any kinder, compassionate and still keep it real. That bumbling baffoon on Rock of Love was nowhere near the person I met and watched that day.
