10 Most Ridiculous Fox News Lies, Creative Edits, and Half-Truths - Spiteful Critic

Unless you're a bit brain-damaged, it shouldn't come as too much of a shock that Fox News occasionally plays fast and loose with the truth. Occasionally they will distort, creatively edit, or even fabricate evidence to support their narrative. But don't worry, you're not the only one screaming at your television.

Unfortunately, there is nothing illegal with what Fox News does (well, kind of). In 2003, the Florida Court of Appeals agreed with Fox News that it is not illegal to distort or falsify the news in the United States, but there is a lot of gray area.

Status: offline 		Most media organizations do not exist to report news, they exist to sell news.

I remember there was some story a few days ago about a "child rapist who hid a 15 year old girl in his car trunk" except the 'rape' was only statuatory in nature, and she's the one who hid in the trunk because she'd run away from home.

If you think that Fox News is unique in focusing more on ratings than strictly accurate reporting, you're not disillusioned enough to work in politics

Status: offline 		In new era infortainment world news do not need to be totally accurate.  Entertainment aspect is more important. They do not really expect to be taken 100% seriously. It is important for reporters to follow the general guidelines and spirit or you will get eliminated. The last applies to all other major news networks as well.
