In the wake of the bloodshed, a man came out of a nearby building and chillingly took a cellphone photo of the victim before leaving. And in several instances, pairs of people gawked at Tale-Yax without doing anything.

Well, I guess this says a lot about the way America has degenerated into a non-caring society. It sure makes me wonder about people today.

They were probably just pissed off that he'd been stabbed rather set on fire: they could have had a barbecue if he was burning...

So, that makes it alright, that it is common in cities? Sounds like a reason to condemn cities and the people that live in them with that logic.

You know this isn't just big cities. I grew up in a small town and things like this happened from time to time and people would pretend it wasn't happening. They'd walk away, act like the person just didn't exist. They didn't want to ruin their safe little lives by getting involved, they were afraid they'd catch some kind of disease or they might actually miss their Nascar race.

People are either selfish or afraid to get involved because society has shown that if they do they may end up just like the person lying on the side of the road.

Why fix it? Humanity will probably exterminate itself within a period of time and some other species will emerge to take over.

Humanity as a whole is a failed experiment in a dominant species. God screwed up with us, and now he dont know how to get rid of us.

This incident bodes a terrible mark on We the People.

The skeletal frame of the city clearly has no moral fiber. If it had been that woman who dresses in a quality of dress....

You think she would have been helped? (would be a shame to ruin those pretty clothes with that blood, call 911.)

Yeah, pops. No one ever gets stabbed in a state where you can legally carry a gun. I guess since you can't carry a gun means that you are also unable to dial 911 as well.
