Alacrity -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/7/2006 2:57:00 PM)

Yeah Dustyn. Math has never really been my strong suit. [:'(]

Dustyn -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/7/2006 11:51:56 PM)

Don't feel bad, Alacrity.  There are days where if I add 1 and 1 and hit 2 twice in a row, I feel like I've accomplished something. *smirk*

LaMalinche -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/8/2006 5:50:47 AM)

Definitions?

We don't need no stinking defintions. . .

Assuming that the word "switch" is taken out of the language, how about . . .

Seig Heil?
Haakaa Paalle?
Gott mit uns?

Likely I would just coin the word "switch".  No need for battle cries after all.

Sheesh.

Best,

LaMalinche

sweetbbwsub31 -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/8/2006 6:54:15 AM)

i am 90% sub and 10% Domme

there are some types that just need my rough side and on occasion i enjoy letting it out. However, i live to serve. It is just who i am.

Dustyn -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/8/2006 12:33:50 PM)

Guess I am just trying to figure out how people view themselves in terms of BD/SM when neither of the normal answers (dominant/top or submissive/bottom) accurately describes them.  I just tend to find it a bit interesting is all, like La Malinche identifying with Cortez' interpreter, or at least admiring her role in history.  How we define ourselves is often how people perceive us.

Call it curiosity.  My feline nature just makes me wonder, but I tend to get lost, so I like directions once in a while. LOL

LaMalinche -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/8/2006 3:39:59 PM)

What you are is a question only you can answer.

I am who I choose to be. I always have been what I chose…though not always what I pleased.

Experience suggests it doesn't matter so much how you got here, as what you do after you arrive.

Best,

LaMalinche

Dustyn -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/8/2006 9:06:56 PM)

Can't swear I have arrived, but I got a good diea where the train tracks are leading.  One of the questions rattling around in my head is will I have my friends at the end like I did before I noticed I'd jumped the tracks.  Like to think so, but ain't my place to decide that.

LaMalinche -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/8/2006 9:53:48 PM)

Adversity does teach who your real friends are.  Who are your friends?  Can you point them out?  Do you realy KNOW them?

Honesty is the only way with anyone, when you'll be so close as to be living inside each other's skins.  Have you been honest?  Totally?

The more you love, the more you can love—and the more intensely you love. Nor is there any limit on how many you can love. If a person had time enough, he could love all of that majority who are decent and just.  Can you LOVE?  How many?  In what way?

But I will accept any rules that you feel necessary to your freedom. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.  What Rules do you want to live by?

I am morally responsible. . . are you?

Best,

LaMalinche

If the term "Switch" had never been coined, so to speak, how would you describe yourself to someone that is exclusively dominant or submissive if asked?

Submissive, masochistic, occasionally sadistic.
I actually use that fairly often, as I consider it more accurate.

Laura -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/10/2006 2:05:46 PM)

I thought of one (finally). I'd call myself Cheshire.

That's the only Disney related thing I have allowed in my home. :) One shades of pink cheap ceramic Cheshire cat.

Cub05 -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (4/18/2006 8:06:57 AM)

An alpha masochist and a sadist

michaels4evr -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (3/9/2007 10:38:18 PM)

Greedy

SilverShadows -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (3/10/2007 4:03:22 PM)

Greedy? You, me, or both of us?

Probably

Elorin -> RE: Question to Ponder #3 (3/10/2007 4:06:05 PM)

Describing me without using the term switch...something I do fairly often.
Rope slut - giving or taking. Fire slut. Ditto.
Sadist.
Dominant.
His.
Daddy's brat.
Greedy - I like a little bit of everything.

Intro at a local group meeting, I introduced myself as "a lifestyle and professional FemDom. I am also an owned slave. My owner is M, who is also my partner in crime."
