Well, I wanted to give it some weight, elevate it to tome status... Couldn't do that with, 'The cigarette and gum wrappers blowing around in here between my ears. Or, 'Sara Palins book sold more copies.' Or, 'Don't read this, listen to Limbaugh; you don't need to know.' Or, 'They shoot lawyers, don't they? (my relationship with Dick Cheney)'. None have that majestic ring to it.
