They seem to be reaching for any excuse to hold them.

U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade said in the filing that prosecutors were in the process of asking the U.S. Solicitor General to appeal Roberts’ 36-page ruling today that federal prosecutors failed to show the defendants were a danger to the community or a flight risk.
McQuade said the defendants had threatened to kill police officers and in light of today’s fatal police shooting in Detroit: “Given the defendants obvious animosity towards police officers and their previous discussion regarding their intent to bomb a police funeral, this fact presents additional reasonable basis for the requested stay.”

I fail to see the connection between the militia and this...

Yes, probably because they believe these people are dangerous.

Could be. They certainly sound dangerous. I just don't think they have anything to do with the tragedy in Detroit and I am not sure why they are trying to tie the two together.

And wearn't they supposed to have a "weapon of mass destruction" or something like that?
"Mz Larsen, and what was found on the compound by way of weapons of mass destruction?"
"Well, they had dirty underware and 55 gallon drums of used kotex rags that could have been ignited."

I agree too often, but I'm not sure that is the situation here.

From what I have seen there are legitimate reasons for this case to move forward.

There may well be.  I've not dug into all the specifics of the case, and apparently, from the judge's reaction, neither has the FBI and the prosecutors.  [:)]

I started this thread primarily because of the poor showing of the Fed's lead investigator on the cases.  It's still to early to make any final judgements on the case or the situation.

it was a response to the grand juries ordering the governors to take the official constitutional oath.

They get to strike back by discrediting them by implication when people hear 2 different but seemingly similar groups in the news only days apart they associate the two unconsciously, then what you posted it never mentioned and all gets forgotten but that initial broadcast claiming they were kooks.

its SOP propaganda warfare and we, well I know it.
