Nothing gathers people together like a massacre of the English language. :)

i'm really making an honest attempt to understand the OP. i'm failing with flying colours. But if i had to take a stab at it, he probably doesn't want to run the risk of having a submissive meat puppet for a child. No offense.

!?!? i'm hoping that's just a reference to specifically the OP's mental faculties because being submissive does not necessarily mean a person is an idiot. Some of us are actually smart.

i was think about the recessive vs. the dominant in genetics. i'm not sure if Dominant or submissive personalities can be deemed as passable through parent to child(i'm pretty sure they are a learned behavior in some shape or form), but in the event that it could be passed, breeding 2 Dominants would more than likely produce a Dominant child(not always- reccesive gene) than if it were a Dominant and a submissive, where the possibility of a submissive offspring is much higher. i was thinking he might not want to risk that.

i don't think Dominant or submissive personalities are necessarily inherited. my mother and my father are very assertive & dominating 'nillas, i'm 100% submissive, and then there's my daughter who slaps the hand-cuffs on her b/f regularly. lol

I think she's sweet and funny. I had a pet like her once. It was really sad - I loved her and fed her and called her George. And then she died. Damn that goldfish and her limited lifespan!!!

*hugs da lovely monkey back*

Which way did he go George? Which way did he go? George? Ummm George? *looks in bowl* Well, I guess George isn't telling me which way he went, now I have to figure out that OP message all on my own LOL Talk about a disconbobulated message!?!?!?

People who decide to randomly break the rules of grammar make me cry callously.

I'm slightly torn here , on one side I feel a bit sorry for the OP and the response you lovely people have given her and I feel obligated to point out that English may not be her first language .....or she suffers from severe dyslexia ....... or maybe she's special needs . On the other hand it is pretty hilarious .

Just had to comment on this one ...

I have dyslexia, as do some of my friends - and we still manage to remain literate and coherent. I feel that if I can manage to put in the effort to make myself understood (it is a good deal of effort some days, and not always successful, but it usually is), then other people ought to as well. And most of the people I know who speak English as a second language speak better, more grammatically correct English than most Americans (I make no judgement on those who speak British English - don't know enough of those outside of the forums here). I expect people to be at least semi-coherent or yes, I'll be mean. There are ways to compensate for such issues and people should learn to use them.

You think that it is better to be a dominant than a submissive or a slave? I assure you that it is not. It simply is different.

I think she was trying to see it from the point of view of the "master" in question. And given the level of intelligence shown by the OP, I'd be willing to bet that (since brains are inherited genetically), the "master" doesn't want to risk his offspring ending up with the OP's brains.

MissAsylum -> RE: wud like know (5/1/2010 5:57:11 PM)

my dear, EVERYTHING i had said was in reference to the OP. if i meant i though ALL submissives were brainless meat puppets, i would have said that. But i doubt i'd be on the forums anyway, or on this site for that manner.

also, i had said that i was pretty sure that Dominance and submission were learned behaviors. but since i don't make it a habit of reading science journals, i left room to be corrected in the event that i was wrong.

I have a nice weekend and end up missing all the good stuff.

Short People - Randy Newman

Self promotion... what... me? So you are saying that my CM profile with photo brochure, text adverts, testimonials and a 2000 page web site dedicated to me is promotion? I just thought they were details to support the guarantee!

I think that would depend whether you're in the Northern or Southern hemisphere when you flush... [:D]

According to the op's profile, she is a dominant and according to her op, she is a switch.

Of course, according to her post count, she is a one hit wonder, but that's beside the point.
