Personally, I don't know anyone who joined that site, nor can I think of anyone who would. Maybe you should rethink your circle of friends.

Maybe you should rethink your use of the quote button.

I never said they were friends, did I?

Relatives and friends of relatives,  but thank you for jumping in with your usual nonsense.

So let's see, 0.0032% of the US population "likes" the site -- which isn't certifiably agreement with it (I like Landover Baptist, for example) -- point zero zero three percent. Wow. Now there's a bunch of people to keep an eye on. Brain, I'm afraid you're going to have to work harder trolling the gutters of depraved humanity if you really want to keep depressing us.

Didnt the republicans hold a prayer to defeat the health care bill? Perhaps they need to start considering god isnt on their side anymore.

Not sure about the repubs, but I do remember watching the vote for the Health Care Bill that just passed. There was a democrat congresswomen from Texas, who went on and on about how her church had gotten together the morning of the vote to pray for it to pass. Funny, because I don't remember anyone bitching about it and I am pretty sure if she had been a repub, they would have.

Hmmm.. if it was televised, i definitely would have.

Examples such as this are worrisome.

James Dobson participated via phone, offering a prayer and seeming to tie the health care bill and the country's overall political direction to none other than the Devil: "I just pray that You will frustrate the plans of the Evil One, and revive us again with conviction and forgiveness. Show us how we can further your cause, Lord and advance your kingdom, and we will be careful to give you the praise. Just begin a revival in our hearts that will restore us as one nation under God."

The event included members of Congress, almost all of them Republicans -- but there was one Democrat, Rep. Mike McIntyre of North Carolina, who appeared via a pre-recorded video message. "You know, the power of prayer knows no bounds," said McIntyre. "The true source of power is not found in the halls of congress or the chambers of the Supreme Court or the Oval Office of the west wing, but rather on our knees at the throne of grace." McIntyre did not specifically comment on the health care bill, but we can probably count him as an irreconcilable vote against it.

Rep. Michele Bachman (R-MN) also led a prayer, thanking the Lord for the Godly men and women who are in public life, and asking forgiveness for government leaders that haven't looked to God:

SO,...IF someone from the group in question decides to be the "Instrument of god's will", do all those who list themselves as members of this particular group immediately become co-conspirators? You can bet that IF this were to happen, that men in plain suits, earpieces with curly wires in one ear, and no sense of humor that they are aware-of would suddenly and swiftly materialize at the front doors of the individuals with ANY association with the perpetrator. Somehow, in light of that fact, joining the group seems to be a new definition for stupidity, something there's no lack of in this day and age.

They're stupid. That would leave us with Joe Biden...

Is it just me, or have Presidents been picking their Vice Presidents as a means of protection?  "If you kill me, you get stuck with this guy!"  Names like Cheney and Quayle leap to mind.

Or Sarah Palin....god, she was the best life insurance policy McCain could ever have. I would have donated a kidney or a lung to keep him alive.
