I am curious as to how many submissives (male and female) would actually date a Pro Dom/me. From what I have gathered not many female subs would want to date a Pro Dom wheras more submissive men would date a Pro Domme. I think I can see the pattern behind it, Dating a Pro would be the equivalent of a Vanilla person dating a Vanilla prostitute and not many people would be keen on that apparently unless I am mistaken. I think the differences between male and female subs dating Pros probably hails from the difference of opportunities that both sexes have. As in most male subs would never normally date one but knowing the lack of choice they cut their losses short. Wheras female subs have lots more choice in the matter hence are able to retain their standards rather than be forced by circumstance to change them.

LOL the answer: Lots, more males than females.

Oh and you'd be wrong about people not dating prostitutes.

As for me i don't hate pro's it is just not for me. For me to scene with a person i have to have some feelings for them otherwise it just won't work. For some it works and i say more power to them.

Actually I think if there was a pro male dom in the midst he'd be inundated with fem subs wanting to date him.

Well McWhip's i can see your point of view in relation to the shortage of Mistress/Dommes but surely even Pro Dommes have a right date who they choose as well !!

I mean as far as i understand it Pro Dommes deal with client's for session's only with very little or no sexual contact but some do have thier own sub/slaves which if they so desired they could "date" and maybe even have a D/s relationship with ...

Just my thought's .....

I think it's a mistake to compare dating a Pro Dom/me to dating a prostitute. A former friend of mine was involved with an escort for a number of years, but he just didn't date her, he managed her.
I think the real diiference lies in the nature of the relationship. There is no doubt who would be in charge of any relationship between a Dom and a sub, regardless of the Dom or sub's status as a pro or not.
I would assume, and correct Me if I'm wrong, but a pro Dom/me that is involved with a sub who is not a pro would consider that sub His or Her own personal property. IN other words, work is separate from their "private" life. Regardless of whether a Dom/me is a professional or not, one would agree that it's good to have someone to coem home to after work.
Maybe it weould be more appropriate to compare the Pro Dom/me to someone in the porn industry. Not in terms if them working for sex, but in terms of how most of the stars in the industry look at their career as separate. They don't take their work home, and ironically enough, a majority of them are married.

hmmmm, well since I am not a sub, I doubt any relationship with a pro domme would last long, but no I would have no problem dating a pro domme or sub, or a prostitute either. The key would be the compatibility between the two of us, not what she or he did for a living....however if said person engaged in the exchange of bodliy fluids with their customers, then you can be sure that i'd wrap my willie every time, regardless of how long we had been together...and really other than the potential health issue, it really wouldn't be a big deal to me.

I would date a pro or a prostitute, male or female though I typically date males. It would not be because of their pro status or in spite of it, any more than I look at job titles any other way.

If it got to be an issue or there were problems associated with it, I would talk with them about it and try to work through it.

And why would this not apply just as easily to a prostitute? Because no one is filming?
