Don't forget the eyeglasses industry.

Term, I can almost guarantee that, unless you were a member of a very small group of "psychonauts", or "Adepts", centered in the SF Bay area, or you have eaten Peyote, San Pedro, or Peruvian Torch cactus, you have never had mescaline.

"According to data compiled by the PharmChem Research Foundation, a California organization, the only psychedelic drugs now generally available on the street are LSD, PCP, and to a lesser extent MDA.

Now available doesn't mean it didn't use to be. I took it in '72. Nice but not wildly hallucegenic.

But pain is good, said the mildly sadistic Level.

Note the date of my citation: 1979.

I took quite a few tablets that were claimed to be mescaline, but weren't. Size of the tablet is a good indicator. A psychedelic dose of mescaline as the sulfate salt is around 300 (200-400) mg. A tylenol tablet contains 325 mg. paracetamol.
Here's the synthesis

It was highly spiritual for me.

First time was peyote buttons. Later the tabs were about 20 mg. They "felt" the same pretty much.

The orange sunshine purported to come from CA was supposed to be acid, but we could tell the difference, it was mesc. But we didn't really give a shit, we just did it with microdot and called it M&Ms. Then we went cruisin and boozin with joints i car with at the very least 300 HP. Mine had 400 HP. Talk about high, I could just about see the dark side of the moon.

We all so belong in jail.

How did we get here ?

Well maybe popular forces got us here. That eating for some is like a drug ? Can food really be considered an intoxicant even though food is required for life ?

Can you be addicted to something deemed a necessity, or does it become a matter of degree ?

eating is a necessity...so as long as we have to do it, it stands to reason that we might as well enjoy it.

Alcohol is NOT a necessity, though.

OK, so Termy you live to drink not live to eat. You'ld be a lot healthier if you ate a good breakfast. But i can guess that if you quit drinking your taste buds may actually start working again.
