can someone advise me on how to set up a website where it provides 'free' advice, but you have to pay some nominal fee to enter in the first place.  thanks.

dont worry ive just got off my arse and found out for myself.  [:D]

Free generally connotes the concept of not having to pay.

(As best as I can figure).

If you want to do it free (I'm assuming because I know a bunch of companies that can do this for you starting at 10K), you can go this route:

- Set-up a blog at Wordpress.com and create a splash page (you'll want it to show a page and not a post as your first page)
- Put all your content on protected pages
- Set-up a paypal account and put the link on that first page
- Once someone pays, let them know there is 24-48 hours to have their payment processed then provide them with a username and password.

There might be other options but there you go.

- LA
