I am looking to get some new toys for my collection and I was wondering if anybody had any advice as to the best place to buy online. Hopefully someplace you have experience ordering from so you can tell me if the stuff is of good quality or not (I hate buying cheap stuff), and what type of service they provide.

I don't need furniture or clothing tight now, just toys.

And if anybody knows of a place in the Pittsburgh area where I can actually go and check out the stuff in person, I would love to hear about that as well.

What kind of toys? It would help to have an idea of what you are looking for. Simplymichael (site: www.torturewood.com) is a member here who makes absolutely beautiful wooden toys, paddles, spreader bars, and the like. I've seen his stuff in real, and it is truly top drawer.

What I am really looking for is somebody who sells high quality leather goods. You can find a lot of leather goods on the internet, but I have been disappointed with the quality of things I have ordered in the past and wanted to know if anybody knew of a company that made good quality stuff.

Ah, can't really help you there, as I make my own. You might want to do a search in your area for fetish flea markets and vendor fairs, as you would be able to inspect the quality before you buy.

In terms of leathergoods it depends on what your after but I can custom make most things and have access to nice thick (5-8mm) leather.

I buy from extreme restraints.com and they're good. I've only ever bought a few times from them, but had no problem and at the time, they were giving away a free small gift to first time customers.

An overseas craftsman, but they offer an insanely good price/quality.
I don't currently own any of their stuff, but I've seen a lot of their pieces in person, and their stuff is gorgeous and extremely well balanced.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I've been very happy with the gear from JT's Stockroom, Mr. S, and Rough Trade.

There are a number of things I've had custom crafted for clients- and then I get the leather goods directly from RL COX (They are here in Albuquerque- no website but you can call them and they sell amazing quality leather starting at $2.25 per square foot.)

What specifically are you looking for? Harnesses? Corsets? Floggers? Clothing? BDSM gear?
