I thought he was good. At least he didn't make any bad jokes like not finding weapons of mass destruction. Obama Shines While Jabbing Birthers and Palin at WH Correspondents Dinner President Barack Obama outdid Leno tonight at the 2010 White House Correspondents Dinner, aka #Nerdprom. There were lots of jokes about his approval ratings, Joe Biden, Mitt Romney and Rahm Emanuel. However his best material was reserved for the birthers and Sarah Palin. For the birthers he joked that his popularity still remains high in his, “home country,” and he jabbed at Palin with a comment about, “socialized media.” Here is the video: http://www.politicususa.com/en/obama-wh-dinner

I really wish they would televise that event. Every year there's at least one gem and the best we get is a 30-second clip. ~Dave

I had no idea it was Daily Show people but I don’t think I would have done it if I was them just because of keeping an appearance of neutrality.

Hollywood people are big financial donors for the Democrats. White House should organize some regular televised parties for the Wall Street elites as well.

FR I remember watching George Bush doing one of his press dinners , just after cheney had shot his friend? It was the only time I laughed with him..it was a funny "obviously" scripted down time and I enjoyed seeing that side of him. I very much enjoyed seeing Obama too, obviously scripted.but still enjoyable, I enjoy the half laughs, when they obviously have thoughts outside the joke.

I had to snicker when he said the jokes are provided by Goldman Sach's. They were making money on them whether everyone laughed or not.
