No, I was actually in a rare, good mood today. But in my little un-scientific poll of today's new users, over 75% were working some sort of scam, and that's just among profiles identified as female. Am I the only one bothered by this? And yes, CM can be a lot of fun. It would be even more fun without all the spam. And as for who gets to decide, well, gee: maybe the people who run the place could be involved in that!

i might be wrong, but the scammers are able the to get around a lot of filters. Most of us know a scam when we see it... i don't see it as CM's fault that such people are out there looking to con people, and i'm sure that CM doesn't want them here anymore than the rest of us. All the friends i've made on CM were so worth weeding through the silly ones... just sayin'.

As a gay, male Dom, I get NONE of these nonsense scammers and spammers.... Oh, the occasional (maybe 3 a month) scammer, but it's clear they blanketed the Doms without regard to sexual preference. Are the rest self-selecting out? Probably. My advice to OP is to write a better profile. ETA: I've seen a few profiles that have a key-word at the bottom. Profile says "use this word at beginning of your message to me so that I know you read the entire profile." BUT the biggest, easiest and most effective "way" to get CM cleaned up is to REPORT such scammers and spammers. After a certain number of reports, the CM system auto-magically removes such people. What's the number? Who cares? Just report 'em. Then click on "block" and click on "delete." OP: be a "big boy" and instead of whining about the problem - YOU do something about it.

Dave, I just scanned through the responses and had to jumpthough. You of all people should know this shit. This is not a gated community, this is not a private yacht, nor is it a development in Telluride, CO. This is the world. I love scammers, I am waiting for one to get back to me right now. Maybe I scared them away, next time mabye I should be more subtle. These assholes don't have half our intelligence, have fun with them.
