Today has been so awesome...
My office manager gave me a gift bag with a necklace that says "Behold the Ageless Wonder 40," a tiara, a bag of black M&M's, a card, and a balloon. The boss bought us lunch. The Things gave me cards and a teddy bear wearing a crown, holding a heart that said, "Princess." We went out to dinner together. My Dad will be coming to see me this weekend. My DB came over after work and gave me hugs and kisses and set a date for us to go to dinner on Friday or Sunday since I had a prior date with my babies tonight. One of my elderly neighbors saw my balloon and asked if it was my birthday. I said, "Yep, I'm 40." He said, "You look really, really good for 40, sweetie, and an old man don't lie." [:D] That was sweet.
