Kids pick up on things. They can tell when you're feeling uncomfortable and trying to play it smooth. It's the fodder to make you even more uncomfortable! LOL

I'm sure though that things will be fine since you said they seem to be taking everything else well.

Laugh, smile and just have a good time together as a family and let Shore enjoy watching the interaction.

Let us know how it goes!

You both seem like very down to earth folks to I have a feeling you'll be just fine.

Status: offline 		Hi.....How's everyone doing tonight?  Unfortunately, Aileen won't be online for 6-8 weeks.  The kids are fine.  They're with their dad.  Looks like there was no permanent damage.

Not that I needed anymore reasons to be in a room with a bar with you people but this thread sealed it.  Bella - you can sit next to me.

For the record.  I do not wear manadals.  If I ever did, multiple people I grew up with would have taken me out long ago.  Aileen has lived on mountain for a long time....where when the wind is right you can smell Pennsylvania. She's not right.  Certainly you do not need me to tell you that.

I have a shore house.  The backyard has sand....and salt water.....On really hot days I wear These to walk to my boat.  For "boat shoes"  I wear a pair of 10 year old faded low top Chuck Taylor's. 

Dinner's ready....

My peeps have tried to take me out.....I am a fairly wiley prey.  Especially when you consider how my extraordinary choice in light footwear allows me to  move like the wind.

bella can sit next to me.  As long as during the dinner hour she doesn't continually talk about those fucking jews and what those pricks have done to mutilate the world's  man meat.

Alrighty....well, we all survived. They liked Shore a lot and we spent a couple of hours having dinner on the deck and talking.
He answered all of their questions and they loved that he had his own list of questions for them to answer.
It went much better than I had hoped....until 1:30 this morning when my oldest came into my room and puked up the entire contents of her stomach.
Sorry Shore. You may have left for the beach with a little more than some coffee to go....

Just relax, as someone else said; let the joy and love you feel for Shore come through in your emotions around the kids, that's the best way to put them at ease.
