I wonder what causes such an immense deformity (not to offend anyone, but at that size, they are) because the woman doesn't look obese from her face and what we can see of her arms.

In the case of my friend, she is somewhat overweight but even at her healthy weight she is at least an F or a G.

Just with a simple D my back hurts at times. Pilates & yoga rocks for this!

Status: offline 		I am relieved that she was able to have surgery to correct the problem with the assistance of the local media. The OP's article mentions out of control pregnancy hormones as a cause. Not a condition I would wish on anyone.




"Doctors believe she was suffering from a rare condition known as gigantomastia, which is characterized by excessive breast growth that may occur spontaneously during puberty or pregnancy, or while taking certain medications, according to the National Institues of Health.

While the exact cause of gigantomastia is not known, Dr. Cynara Coomer, a breast surgeon and Fox News contributor said in this particular case, it could be due to the hormones that are present during pregnancy."

Ok, I just talked to her and she says what I am remembering is her bitching about VS because they didn't carry her size. She goes to Katherines, which I have never heard of, but apparently has very nice large size bras.

I've found that Fashion Bug has some really great styles that fit me well. They even have a couple that Holly can fit into fairly well, and not too bad in terms of price.

Yea, she used to drag...errr....let me accompany her there also. After hours of sitting there watching her go through clothes, my eyes were so glassed over, I couldn't say for sure what she bought there. But it was one of her favorite stores.

I'm just having a really hard time getting my head around this....an "N" is life-threatening, and yet they go on up to "T"???  That's just unimaginable.

This particular lady has a *very* slight frame, so 35 pounds of boobs affects her more than someone who has a bigger frame and more muscling to support them. It's also quite possible that she had another medical condition that affected her ability to breathe, such as asthma, and the weight on her lungs made it worse. I recently met a client who explained to me that one of her breasts became massive....she had somehow problems with toxins as her body did not manage to get rid of the toxins she catched in day to day life...certainly not saying that this is the case with her, only saying that that's one of the things a body can get bigger...
