With the porn music in the background and all the references to "getting the job done," it's hard to imagine it's not what they meant.

Attack Ad Doesn't Show Democrat Masturbating: GOP

(NEWSER) – The web has no shortage of salacious videos—and a new one, compliments of the GOP, appears to depict a Democratic nominee for the Senate masturbating. Roger Ebert—who knows a thing or two about film—declared the video "vile!" but the National Republican Senatorial Committee insists its attack ad, set to steamy music and showing a bare-chested Ohio Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher in front of his computer, isn't sexual in nature, reports the Columbus Dispatch.

This is ridiculous. The entire political process has gone from concern about the country and concern about issues to just "get elected at any cost". I don't like the idea that a politician is beholden to his party rather than the people who elected him, and this kind of ridiculous attack video is the result.

Thanks a whole heap, Republicans. You're pulling the tone of debate to a ridiculous new low.
