No, no, no - a bit of soft mood music is one thing but I generally don't like distractions. And really, as the one in charge, you should have your priorities worked out better than that.

Mind you, many years ago when I didn't know about dom-space, I thought it'd be a good idea to watch my footy team play while the girl was hogtied on the carpet in front of me. This was a *planned* scene (she hated footy). Turned out my team won, I just couldn't recall too many details - and the whole 90 minutes of it went by in a blink. She loved it, too, and while I also enjoyed the scene, I was confused for awhile as to what actually did happen (to me).

So a lesson was learned - *record* whatever it is I'm "watching" next time I include the girl being all trussed up....

IMHO, the whole thing is about HER, not you, therefore, the focus is on her.

Having said that, I always wanted to be in my office, working on a project, with a nice subbie below the heavy oaken desk sucking on my cock as I attended to my work.

I find the TV distracting during scenes, but it wouldn't be a hard limit, especially if he played with me a bit during the commercials or whatever.

Yea whats the dif between watching tv or the tunes on??? I had this one girl who would start blowing me as I was talking on the phone that was one of her "trademarks". I could have told her to stop... Just cuz the OP wasnt a fan of the tube on whilst getting her eyeballs screwed back outta place does not mean it offends someone else.

I don't see it as a big deal. He was watching hockey the other night while using me as an ottoman and toying with me during commercials. Other than my legs cramping up, it was cool. He's had me blindfolded and gagged while he watched football before, played with me during halftime and "put me away' again for the rest of the game. I thought it was cool he could enjoy me like that.

I get plenty of attention. I don't need to demand it when he wants to watch his sports.

When we play in a hotel, the tv is on to muffle the noise. Personally I find it distracting. But he's able to multitask; spank and watch, or play with me lightly to keep me involved and then ramp it up during commercials. But it's hotter if he tells me as he brings me to the edge and then stops that I have to wait because the show is on again.

How much does it take to tweak her nipples absentmindedly while you watch?

Well, I can't concentrate when the television is on. It's just reality for me. That wouldn't work. Not because I have some "Oh pay attention to me" thing going on, but because I seriously can't move my eyes off the tube, can't move my mind off the words that are happening (presuming it is in a language I understand).

When I was working in a field in which I visited people's homes, I always had to ask people to turn off their televisions. No concentration on anything but the tube for me. Sorry. Same is true for music ... if it is words I know, I can't switch my concentration. Non-word music is better for me or music in a language I don't know. I just can't split my concentration like that.

Master's been known to bind me and go off to watch a game, work on his computer, clean up a little, etc...his choice and I can't say I mind all that much. It can be pretty relaxing sometimes.

I think you and I are very similar this way. I'm extremely sensitive to sound and background noise tends to distract my attention. That said, I pick up sounds others don't.

sunshinemiss, wouldn't an ipod with instrumental music and a blindfold fix that?

Seriously, I agree that I tend to get too distracted to really get into a scene, but for light stuff, it's fine. It is one of those things that has made me feel used and objectified a bit, generally in a positive way. If we were *only* playing with the TV on, that would get a bit irritating eventually, I think.

I would have been upset if Daddy did that to me. I don't like music or the tv on while in a scene, it tends to distract me and gives me a reason to call yellow or red sooner than I really need to. It also distracts Daddy and enhances his ADD which really can make for a bad scene.
