So I posted frantically here for a few days a few weeks ago, and then decided I needed some time off to go find myself.  Since then, I have climbed to Dharamsala, read Parmenides in the original, held a seance in which I conversed with the spirit of Werner Heisenberg (who couldn't tell me anything definite), and learned the Language of the Birds.

Actually, I mostly played some Grand Theft Auto Vice City (the one with Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Spandau Ballet on the soundtrack), went to a Cubs game (which they lost), watched Real Genius 17 times and wasted entirely too much time reading textsfromlastnight.  To be honest, I was glad to return and discover that this account had not, in fact, been deleted, because thinking of a new name seemed like it would require both time and effort.

So what I'm saying is, "Hi again."

Ha ha.  Most people would probably assume that was some sort of Lady Gaga reference (she certainly does owe a great deal of her look to Yana YaYa and Martin Degville).
