What the fuck is there to do in Cleveland in the spring?

I have to go there for business the first week of June.  I've researched online.  Couldn't find shit that seemed interesting.  The Indians are out of town when I'm there.  I know about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

What else is there to do in that city other than pound beers with Termyn8or?

Never in the history of western civilzation has there been a more boring place than Cleveland Oh.

I feel so bad for you.

Tell Me, does he keep his flip flops by the bed so none of the icky carpet germs get on his feet?

The Flats.  That's where all the nightlife is, pretty good nightlife, actually.  Lots of live music venues and clubs, some even have live sex shows [:-]   (At least they used to).

If you go south about 60 miles on I-77, easy drive, you'll come to Canton, which is my old hometown, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame is there, worth seeing if you're into that.  My son is head bartender at an establishment near there, I can let you know where, and if you stop in, I can arrange free beer for you. :)

Cleveland is my birthplace, so you can do a quick bow to mecca over the Cuyahoga River if it doesn't light on fire. [;)]

Jeffff -> RE: Cleveland (5/9/2010 4:56:35 PM)

I am off to go watch the blackhawks.

There will be no cuddling .

Also, I heard the Flats was closed down. Not entirely sure, The local radio sports guys were talking about it during the Bulls VERY short playoff run

windchymes -> RE: Cleveland (5/9/2010 4:59:07 PM)

NOOOOOOO!   They can't do that!  Can they?

I'm talking to my son later tonite, I'll get the scoop from him.

Jeffff -> RE: Cleveland (5/9/2010 5:00:07 PM)

If you loved your son, you'd get him out of Cleveland.

And on Mothers day even.... you should be ashamed!

domiguy -> RE: Cleveland (5/9/2010 5:08:30 PM)

Contact MasterGoad88, maybe he could tag along and keep you company.

He seems like he is a barrel full of monkeys

Level -> RE: Cleveland (5/9/2010 5:11:05 PM)

Yeah, just don't get him out until I do the Pro Football HoF/free beer deal!

Jeffff -> RE: Cleveland (5/9/2010 5:13:16 PM)

Pretty open-ended question without knowing what your interests are.

I grew up there and still have a home there so I am biased, but I've lived many other places and traveled extensively.

It might amaze you what the area has to offer.

I would be happy to point out some things if you tell me what you are looking for.

windchymes -> RE: Cleveland (5/9/2010 5:21:51 PM)

He's in Canton!  And believe me, I've tried to drag him and his brother out of NE Ohio, but they're firmly rooted there.  And you silly boy,. The Flats is (are?)alive and well.  Some places have shut down, but other's are jammin' every night.

This one sounds pretty darn intriguing, sorry it's over, lol.

Free brew AND the Hall!

I wonder if they'd get mad if I put on Tom Landry's hat?

windchymes -> RE: Cleveland (5/9/2010 5:28:39 PM)

When you're done with the hat, Level, you can go see the display of the dresses of the America's First Ladies.  Does it get any better???? [:D]

domiguy -> RE: Cleveland (5/9/2010 5:32:14 PM)

What about wearing Tom Landry's hat while sporting Michelle Obama's inauguration gown?

You would be stunning!!! Her dress would accentuate your package.
