ORIGINAL: whipmaker7 I do believe in the benefits of positive thinking for the human brain and the body's 'molecules.' I guess its comforting to think our way of thinking can change the outcome of anything too, but experience has taught me the universe is enormous and aloof. granted, we are a part of it, but thinking something into reality just doesn't work. Wish it did, though. quote:
ORIGINAL: im curious about these molecules - how does it work exactly. to whipmaker, Power of Intention is all about thinking youreself into a more positive framework. i think people expect everything to go Kabammo and suddenly youre in youre own version of paradise, but it doesnt really work like that. what ive found out is that you might wish for something but if it isnt right for you or you have more to learn on youre path before you get that thing then that is what you have to do. you cant really short cut to the good stuff until youve put in the work - i know it sucks, but i have found that out to be true. looking back i would say that i wasnt ready for the thing ive wanted most in my life, now that i am its coming through - its wierd but it does happen. i think partly its about being dedicated toward that goal, not expecting a quick fix, but pushing that desire out into the universe and taking the opportunities that come along that will further that end. eventually it comes through for you, but it takes time. curiously enough i believe everyone has a path but the either ignore it, avoid it or feel unable to follow it. but if youre determined enough and you stick with it, it does come through for you.
