With the risk of feeding several peoples Palin obsessions, here we go. http://www.ndtv.com/news/world/some-palin-facebook-fans-unhappy-with-endorsement-24204.php So Sarah has ticked off a number of her devotees by endorsing a candidate in CA who is not the Tea Party's choice. OK, big deal we should all support the person we think is best rather than blindly getting behind party lines or groups. But who does she support? Carly Fiorina. Sarah says that Carly has the kind of business experience needed in Washington. Really, Carly Fiorina? Let's see. While the CEO of Hewlett-Packard she oversaw the value of their stock drop 60%. forced the merger with Compaq, over the objection of everyone including the Board of Directors and a proxy fight. The results of that merger are considered a huge blunder. The day she was forced to resign HP's stock price jumped upwards on the news. She has also been named on a list of the 20 worst CEO's of American Companies ever. A person who had a reputation for forcing what she wanted and listening to no one. Not an admirable trait when the ship is sinking under your direction. Not to mention that she was a big proponent of expanding the HB1 visa program and how US companies couldn't compete without globalization. That caused a huge rift between her and the workers who thought their jobs were either being outsourced are replaced with workers on visas. This is the kind of leadership and business experience old Sarah thinks Washington needs? But wait, there's another little wrinkle hiding underneath. Seems that Carly was an economic advisor to the McCain/Palin campaign. Way to go out on a limb and be a maverick there. Besides the point that while Obama was getting his economic advice from Warren Buffet this is where McCain and Palin were getting theirs from.
