Right now I'll take a quick aside and talk about you briefly. Whay the fuck did you have to throw that in ? Didn't you notice the question marks ? Those questions were in context, and somewhat analogous to this topic. They were not meant to paint you into a corner or anything of the sort. That one liner of your's would alienate most people by it's arrogance. It's just that I don't react that way, and indeed what you do is irrelevant, I was just curious.

Moving on, "cross fertile" that's the term I was looking for. I happen to personally know that dogs are still cross fertile with wolves, and a German sheperd and a wolf produced an offspring of very high intelligence, strength and agility. Quite well adapted to damnear anything really. Hardly a throwback in the sense the word is taken, to say the least.

Are we cross fertile with certain other primates then ? And if we were to engage in that, would we be spawning a new branch of evolution ?

Again, not sarcastic. I admit I know very little about DNA. I'm not trying to be abrasive here, but if you keep showing those rough edges I might just have to accomodate.

I've repeatedly told you why I'm rude to you. You're a bigot who refuses to learn.

As to humans being cross fertile with other apes. No one knows. No one has tried hybridizing in the lab for ethical reasons

I wish I lived in your world. If you think for one minute that no government lab, maybe not even our own, would like to produce a typr of protohuman for use in war would not for ethical reasons you are wrong. They won't make the information public because the public would see it as unethical.

Be as rude as you want. It will just bounce off of me. Know why ? Because I am a Man and I don't feel the need to antagonize those with whom I disagree. You should really stop trying to get this issue into the court of public opinion because I think it likely you have nowhere near the standing you think.

If it fails to effect you bigot why do you continue to whine about it?

As to the rest real scientists would know how utterly ridiculous the idea is. Due to the constraint of requiring a host mother for every fetus such an experiment could never be used to create a large number of hybrids. Hybrids would take at least 15 years to reach physical maturity and there is absolutely no reason to believe that such hybrids, if possible, would be amenable to military use. OTOH genetics researchers know fully well the fate of anyone who gets caught trying to hybridize humans and apes so no one has tried.

As to the rest, your statemen only reveals that you think you know everything. Are you saying that nothing is secret ? And I don't even care what is in area 51, but just try to get in there. And follow that with EVERY secret government installation across the planet.

You have been watching all of them all their lives. Is this true ? Is that what your job is, to track down those researchers who might do something "unethical" ? You go all over the planet 44 hours a day, 12 days a week looking for those who migh do something "unethical" ? I find that hard to believe.

Oh, and unethical ? Dropping a bomb was ethical if "it saved one American's life" if you remember. Imagine having these disposable creatures to unleash on enemies. Little Johnnie's Mommy doesn't have to cry because he didn't die in the war. I could schmooze that over in a heartbeat. Ethics my ass. Before the first test detonation of the bomb scientists told the President that it could concievably burn the atmosphere off the planet, and he said do it anyway. I don't care if the odds were a kagillion to one, he has the right to risk his own life, certainly the lives of those in the military and possibly every US citizen's life. But he risked all life. That was wrong. Even Hitler didn't do shit like that. Would he ? Probably, but the fact is he did not.

But then why should I care ? I am a bigot and we are talking about a bunch of gooks and dps. Fukum. Right ? You figure that's my attitude ? Keep your eyes on the lines, not between them.

Dunno what to tell you. Fukit, I'll await something to which to respond now because I am sure it is coming.

And no that we've wandered very very far afield and you have yet to acknowledge that your original premise is wrong, as you also failed to do the last time you were smacked you around on this subject, I see no reason to continue. I have acknowledged that the possibility of my premise is very unlikely. But you, like Intel a few years ago think that 99.9999999%=100%. I know and I knew how unlikely this is, but I chose to discuss it anyway. The other possibility. Remember this is a discussion forum. I can discuss the price of beans in China if I damn well please. I wanted to discuss those other possibilities, and if you keep polluting it I think I will be here longer than you.

I want to know where my racist filth was in this thread. For some reason only you have detected it, and maybe kit. Point it out. CM management does not see it, but look at what they do see. What they see is you insulting me every chance you get and me not reciprocating. Get it through your head, I need niot damn you, you are doing quite well at it yourself.

It seem to me that T in them threads is talking about ostrich policies: ignore facts that you do not like, pretend that they do not exist. I call such ostrich people liars and deem them complicit in any criminal consequences, either before or long after the fact.

What's more I see nothing in those examples that makes your point.

I warned you not to take this to the court of public opinion but I am close to having the title of this thread changed. To what I am unsure.

It's open season now, I invite everyone to follow those links and tell me. Tell me how my words identify me as a bigot, in this thread or the ones referenced.

To CM staff, as the originator of this thread I fully authorize it's hijack in this direction. Most meaningful discussion on topic is about over anyway. So let's get it out in the open. Let's let the court of public opinion decide.

I have read T's post in that first link. I see nothing wrong in his post. He discusses an interesting text, presenting a fragment as an example. I do not consider it evidence of racism on T's part, but to the contrary on the part of DomKen who apparently makes racist connections to that document, whereas T does not.

I recall no dispute of the factual accuracy, only the origin. I was already aware of that, I posted about it in a discussion forum. This is not a thesis but a discussion.

If you accept that as proof - of me being a bigot, put the shovel down. Anyone with a fair level of reading comprehension should be able to see that I was attempting to define differences in the words. Perhaps I did fail, but oh well.

Maybe my posts should be on your forbidden reading list. You seem so sensitive, and seem to lash out. You seem to be offended when people do not take your word as gospel. When you are not properly stroked for your supreme knowledge on every topic in which you choose to engage.

Then you seem to fail to realize that even Mod 11 did not take your stance. You also failed to notice the dates, and just how far back you had to go to get those references.
