we got some  sad news today, that due to budget cuts, school will now be fee based and not free. It's like 70 dollars a month starting in june, and then for the fall semester it'll be a little bit less. Charging a fee was the only way the school could keep their summer programs open, and afford to have classes at all in the regular year. Budget cuts have hacked the school down from 4 teachers to only 2.

I'm regretting all the time spent lally gagging and not doing as much as I can, cause I could of been done by now. It could be worse I guess, it could be like 100 or 200, then I'd have to drop out all over again.

As it is I have a month to get as much work done as possible before the fee's kick in and I wanted to go to school every day, but my dad* my real one* isn't willing to take me every day, he says that's an awful big burden, not only on an individuals time, but gas and the car. I said well how about 3 days a week, forgetting that my day is on Tuesday, so there is no 3 days a week unless you go two days in a row one day. I was thinking Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. However now maybe I'll go Monday and Tuesday, ageplay Daddy w/ill drive me on Monday, real dad on Tuesday, then go Wednesday and Friday, and I'll try to get two tests in a visit, maybe even more depending on how fried I get. Sometimes when I have looked at something for to long I get brain dead, and then it's time to call it quits. Hopefully I can move and groove so much that a lot of what I need will be done by the time fee based school starts, I only have a book of art and a math course to finish.

LOL, ok that sounds horribly self absorbed. I don't mind paying a little bit to go to school, but if I had a lot of work to do it'd quickly add up to be to muich. And I am more sad that the school is suffering than having to pay a fee. they conmpletely cut out the program for students with special needs, and that class was really a good deal for those with special needs.

The private sector has been forced to make cuts in personal when the money isn't there to pay employees. It is long past due for the public sector to do the same. Taxes can only be raised so much. We are at the breaking point now..

This is where i think a balanced budget amendment should be enacted in all states - make the politicans responsible for a realistic budget - just as homeowners are. Yep, there will be programs that fall through the cracks - but no-one can spend money that isn't there.

Interestingly, Arkansas has a balanced budget amendment, whilst California doesn't - guess who has a better fiscal outlook.

Servant, yeah, the school also offered retirement bonuses for those who were elligable for early retirement, so a lot of teachers, not only were layed off, but a bunch retired.
