I'm not advocating this, but if folks here can't talk you out of it...can you at least catch in advance the scorpion or scorpions, take them to some place for identification, then go to your doctor?
Tell him that these are on your property and what should you do if bitten/stung while clearing out weeds or whatever, see if he'd give you meds in advance like that stuff for anaphylactic shock. I had a friend long time ago who had to carry a needle in a kit in case he was stung by bees when he went hiking or camping. It's been over 20 years so I don't remember much.
I hope nothing terrible happens, but know better than to try to talk y'all out of this as your mind seems to be set. I've read articles years ago about people who have made bees sting their knuckles to help with arthritis, so I know stuff like what you're talking about happens somewhere because people will try almost anything...and accidents do happen.
When my sister was in the military and worked in Oklahoma, every time their neighbor mowed his lawn, hordes of scorpions invaded her house and she had to be very careful because she had a baby that crawled around on the carpet. I'm sure you could do a lot of research on repercussions of scorpion stings, just from Oklahoma or from your state alone, so you can be more prepared.
