If they support it, then why not actually step up to the plate on the subject? If it's such a great strategery, make the case, and sell the idea.
What makes pretending that radical religious beliefs play no role in terrorist attacks, such a great plan?
Well, actually, I think that they are caught in a classic case of cognitive dissonance.
Their ideological commitments are conflicting with their common sense understanding that it's an important issue, therefore they take one of two courses of action:
1. Lash out in anger at anyone who disturbs their mental equilibrium by bringing the issues to their attention, or
2. Ignore the issue completely.
I don't think we are going to get any other reaction from people who condone Holder's actions, other than one of those two.
